From 35,000 Feet to Complete Grounding – Sharon’s Journey to The Dairy
When Sharon first rolled out a yoga mat, she wasn’t in a studio or on a retreat—she was in the sky, somewhere over the Atlantic. As a British Airways stewardess, her world was all about speed, schedules, and shifting time zones. But in those moments of stretching and breathing, she found something rare: stillness.
Yoga started as a small ritual on layovers and hotel room floors—a way to reconnect with herself amidst the whirlwind. But then came a diagnosis that changed everything: Endometriosis. Suddenly, her body was asking for a slower pace. The high-flying lifestyle that once felt empowering now felt draining. And for the first time, she listened. Properly listened.
That quiet voice—the one we all try to ignore—said: “It’s time.”
So she swapped aisles for asanas. Planes for pranayama. And in that shift, The Dairy was born.
Her studio isn’t just a place to move and breathe—it’s a space to pause. To find balance again. To remember that we are more than our job titles or symptoms or ‘should-dos’.
