I’m Lizzie Barnett, the creator of Southport’s Journey—a magazine dedicated to championing Southport’s past, present, and future. Our aim is to bring the town’s identity to its people, weaving together the stories they share and the history that has shaped this place we call home. Through Southport’s Journey, I wanted to create a space where the town’s incredible people, culture, and spirit can shine.

We also pay tribute to those we’ve lost, writing thoughtful obituaries that honour the lives of residents who’ve made Southport the unique community it is today. Alongside showcasing the work of Southport’s businesses, we’re building a vibrant identity for the town’s future—together with its people.
